It's been a gorgeous, sunny spring in Seattle this year. Here are a few photos of our recent adventures.

Mother's Day 2013

Spring has finally arrived in Park City, and we had a great Mother's Day Weekend!

For Mother's Day I got a "new to me" mountain bike and enjoyed my first (laid back) ride of the season. I also escaped to yoga and a mani-pedi on Saturday... ahh... Sunday we went to a BBQ in Salt Lake City and enjoyed a lot of sunshine and relaxation. It was a great weekend!

Isaac also got a couple of "delayed" birthday presents... a train set and a bike with pedals.  He's not quiet ready yet for the bike with pedals (and no training wheels), so he'll probably scoot around on his balance bike until he gets just a little taller. Here he is enjoying the goods:

Hoppy Easter!

We spent our Sunday riding at the Canyons and having a fun kid-filled Easter dinner at a friends' house.

We enjoyed the warmer Salt Lake City weather (spring feels close!), and had a blast with friends Kate, Ben & their son Jackson.  We got to see the normal line up of animals, including  a polar bear!

As the snow melts and it quickly turns to spring, we're dusting off our bikes & running shoes, and enjoying the sun!  Eric has a new mountain bike, and I've signed up for a few running races this summer.  It's been a busy month so far with work, play and visitors. So in lieu of a detailed blog post, here are a couple of photos and a link to our photo album with recent pictures, including some lost photos of Isaac's birthday, Grandpa Merhar's recent visit to Park City and Eric's biking/camping trip to Moab last weekend. I'm not sure what was more exciting at the zoo:  the animals, the ride on the "choo choo" train, or the "under construction" areas (excavators!). But any way you slice it, it was a memorable Sunday morning for this almost-2-year-old boy:
