Hogle Zoo :: March 2

A fun day at the Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City:

We enjoyed the warmer Salt Lake City weather (spring feels close!), and had a blast with friends Kate, Ben & their son Jackson.  We got to see the normal line up of animals, including  a polar bear!

The rest of our weekend

Despite our Lodi scare, we had great weekend including a trip to the zoo in Salt Lake City, exploring the Jordanelle State Park and relaxing around the house.

Fun at Utah's Hogle Zoo:

Isaac wanted to ride the Carousel, but stuck to the peacock chair.  He's still warming up to the idea of riding on  the animals that go up and down.  He loved the train and the elephants-- there was a mother and baby elephant and that was a big hit.

Isaac's First Trip to the Zoo

I'm not sure what was more exciting at the zoo:  the animals, the ride on the "choo choo" train, or the "under construction" areas (excavators!). But any way you slice it, it was a memorable Sunday morning for this almost-2-year-old boy:
