Our baby boy is one! It's so hard to believe that Isaac was born one year ago.

I asked Eric to describe the year in three adjectives and he said... at first it was
sleepless... and then we were
clueless... but now it is
serendipitous. Well said.
I'd say it's been a fast, fun and wild ride, filled with love, learning and growth (with lots of laughter and a few tears).
Overall, we're very proud of how we're doing as parents. Mostly because we have such wonderful friends and family to support us. Speaking of which, Isaac had a grand first birthday celebration! About 30 of our closest family and friends came over Saturday for lunch, a cupcake, a beer and to sing happy birthday to Isaac. Here are some photos from the big day!

REALLY FUN #1 party! (The pictures don't come up on my screen, but are available in Ryan's link.) Great to get a lot of Isaac's life support together... great meeting Mary and family; aunt Lisa was in the house; good to catch up with Eric's parents; and of course a cast of a thousand friends.
